The NATA Research & Education Foundation Block Party at Laclede’s Landing was the single most profitable fundraiser we’ve held to-date, raising more than $28,000 – all of which was profit!!! Our attendees loved the fact that the street was closed down just for them and they had a great time listening to the bands that were set up at each end of the block, sampling food and drink from local restaurants and having some time to relax and reconnect before our Annual Meeting began. The Laclede’s Landing Merchants Association was instrumental to our success – they did all of the work from conceptualization to securing bands and sponsors to event execution. All at no cost to us! I can’t thank the Merchant’s Association enough for hosting a fantastic event that those who attended are STILL talking about!
