Have you ever taken a tram ride up to the top of the Gateway Arch? If you’re afraid of heights, this may not be the best activity for you since the Arch is over 630 feet tall. However, if heights are your thing, it offers a great view of the city that you can’t find anywhere else!
After touring the Laclede’s Landing Wax Museum that has over 250 life-size wax figures of your favorite celebrities and historical figures, grab some ice cream to go and snack on it at the Gateway Arch National Park grounds!
Remember to pack a blanket if you want to lay on the grass. If you forget it, no worries! There are plenty of benches to sit on at the Arch grounds as well.
Looking to spend Labor Day weekend with your furry friend? Laclede’s Landing recently opened Nestle Purina Laclede’s Landing Dog Park for your pet to run around and release some energy!
This dog park is free to the public for you and your pet to enjoy daily—on and off their leash. Each Saturday, there’s also a line of beer and food trucks for humans to enjoy while dogs play and socialize.
No matter what you’re into, St. Louis has countless activities for you to enjoy with your friends and family over the long Labor Day weekend. Laclede’s Landing is home to seven bars and restaurants, 17 historic buildings, and over 250 years of history, making it one of the most historic districts in the United States.
